Ruth Namukasa

Six year old Ruth is a cheerful child with a gorgeous smile; she has a pleasant personality in spite of her painful situation. She lost her parents to HIV aids when she was an infant. She lives with her grandmother who is a small scale farmer of cassava and maize. With the meager earning of these seasonal crops the grandmother struggles to meet all the needs of Ruth. Sometimes Ruth feels lonely as she does not have siblings. Most of the time she enjoys playing with the other children in the neighborhood. Ruth’s future dream is to be medical doctor and treat people with HIV aids and says that she would like to find a cure to prevent people from dying of HIV Aids.
